Qld All Schools Touch Carnival

Queensland All-Schools Touch Carnival 2015
Our PEP Touch students recently took part in the Queensland Primary All-Schools Touch Football
competition. This is the culminating activity for all our hard work in PEP touch throughout the year.
The boys had a great day on Saturday with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss against some quality opposition which
resulted in them finishing 2nd in their pool group. The first 2 matches were where the boys showcased their
touch skills by beating Ormiston 4-0 and having a 5-all draw with a strong team from Algester.
The girls came up against tough opposition in all their pool games on Saturday. As a result they finished in the Plate finals group which they ended up winning with a 2-0 win over Norfolk Village and a 3-0 win over
Calamvale CC. This was a great result for the girls who finished the carnival very proud of themselves.
Congratulations to all the students who took part and thanks to the parents who helped getting the kids there for the weekend.
