Enrolment Management Plan

As reported in our school newsletter on 26th November 2014, Palmwoods State School now has an Enrolment Management Plan.  This means that all students who enrol in our school must be from our designated catchment area. If not they will be required to apply for an Out-of-Catchment Application, we can only enrol out-of-catchment students if there is sufficient spare capacity after reserving places for students who move into the catchment during the year; and after taking into account the school’s projected future enrolment growth.
We understand that we already have students who reside outside this catchment area and we wish to set families minds at ease and inform you that students who are already attending the school or with completed enrolment forms to attend in 2015 (eg. Preps) are not affected by these new restrictions.  Siblings of current students at the school are also exempt from this.  We hope this helps to clear up any concerns.
